Launch draft
HESTOL Privacy Notice.
Last updated: September 12, 2026
HESTOL is a trading software product operated by Lorthen Software LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, and handle personal information through the HESTOL website and early-access waitlist.
Scope of this notice
This notice covers the HESTOL marketing website, its public demonstrations, messages sent directly to our public email address, and the early-access waitlist planned for launch. It does not describe paid accounts, payment processing, or trading-account connections because those services are not operating on this website.
Information we collect
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include in your message. Your email service and ours also process the message and standard delivery data.
The public waitlist form is currently disabled and does not submit information. When the backend is enabled, the form is intended to collect your email address, optional plan interest, your consent choice, the page used to join, and technical anti-abuse data. The backend must record the consent wording and time. Final hosting-log fields and retention practices must be verified before launch.
How we use information
We use direct messages to respond to product, early-access, and privacy questions. Once the waitlist is enabled, we intend to use submitted information to manage waitlist membership, record consent, prevent abuse and duplicate entries, send confirmation messages, and send HESTOL launch and early-access updates to people who have opted in.
Service providers
MailerLite is the selected email provider for the future waitlist integration. The HESTOL form will submit to our backend, and the backend will communicate with MailerLite. This connection is not active yet. MailerLite’s handling of information is also described in its Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).
The website also relies on hosting infrastructure and loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Those providers may receive technical request information such as an IP address, browser details, requested page, and request time. The production host and its log settings must be verified before launch.
Cookies, analytics, and browser storage
The current frontend does not activate production marketing analytics or set application-specific advertising cookies. It uses session storage for page-scroll restoration. Public demos keep temporary interactions in page memory for the current visit and use fictitious sample data. Hosting infrastructure may still create standard request logs. Analytics, cookie use, and hosting behavior must be rechecked in the production launch configuration.
Retention and deletion
Final retention and deletion periods for contact messages, consent records, waitlist data, MailerLite records, and hosting logs have not yet been approved. They must be documented before the waitlist is enabled. Where applicable, requests about deletion or correction can be sent to the address below.
Your choices
The marketing consent box is separate and unchecked by default. After email collection is enabled, marketing messages must include MailerLite-supported unsubscribe controls. You may also email us to ask about your information or withdraw from marketing communications.
Changes to this notice
We will update this page when our website or data practices change and revise the date shown above. Material launch details—including the legal operator’s formation, the effective date, providers, and retention practices—must be confirmed before this draft becomes effective.
